Conditions for the purchase and delivery of tickets to the Læsø Ferry

Ticket can be bought online at www.laesoe-line.dk and personally at the Ferry Company's offices in Frederikshavn and Vesterø on Læsø.

Online booking and paying
Booking and paying a ticket can be done online at www.laesoeline.dk. Here you can pay for an online ticket that can be printed and shown when checking-in. The ticket can also be sent as an email og by sms.
The purchase is completed when the ticket appears on the screen ready to print.
The ticket has a unique reservation number, and the printed ticket is a valid documentation of the payment for a certain crossing and product.
Please note: All travellers must be able to show a valid booking and ticket.
Payment is drawn from your card when the ticket is sent from the Ferry Company.
Payment can be made with Dankort, VISA, MasterCard, JCB og American Express. All data are encrypted.
Online payments or booking and paying via telephone are subject to a transaction fee (does not apply to VISA and/or VISA/Dankort). The fee begins at 0.70 DKK and will depend upon the price of the purchase.
Your booking is completed when the ticket appears on your screen after the purchase.
Remember your ticket when checking-in - the bar code is scanned when boarding. You can also show the bar code on your smart phone.
Tickets can be cancelled 24 hours after purchase and with a full refund to the card or account where the amount is drawn. You can cancel online via My Booking using the ticket number and password shown on the confirmation. You can also call our office, if you are not online.
All tickets are one way. Please pay attention to the fact that reservation is mandatory at Dangerous Goods departures!
The Læsø Ferry offers standard tickets to adults, children and seniors. Prices will be available online and at price lists on the Ferry and at the offices.

Owners (and their spouse/cohabitant) may purchase ticket at islander prices. Please call us to purchase a socalled Islander Card - a photo is needed along with proof of your residence.
Tuesdays two departures are so-called dangerous goods departures - 06:00 from Læsø and 20:30 from Frederikshavn. On these departures there are limitations on the number of vehicles and passengers, and reservation is mandatory. We strongly recommend that booking and payment is made well in advance - some have experienced to be rejected because they have tried to purchase at the office just prior to departure.
Standard Tickets: can be altered up until departure.
Discount tickets: can be altered up until departure to a similar type of ticket.
One day tickets: Only valid in the given weekends and only valid for vehicle incl. 7 persons. Can not be changed, cancelled or refunded when bought.
Senior (or early retired) Tickets: For people of 65 years and/or early retired citizens. ID must be shown on demand. Can be altered up until departure
Children: Children 0 - 3 years travel for free when accompanied by an adult or a paying child.
Vehicle: Max length 5 meter, weight up till 3.500 kg.
Vans: Cars up til 6 meters designed for transporting goods and weighing up to 3.500 kg.
Vehicles with trailers or caravan: pays according to the price list.
Arrival and check-in: At the latest 20 minutes before scheduled departure (15 minutes before the departure from Læsø at 06:00.)
All departures and reservations are subject to changes or cancellation due to force majeure, disruptions or breakdowns.
